Engagement

A critical aspect of the Coastal Resilience Framework is continuous engagement with the communities and stakeholders in the study area. But our commitment goes beyond just engaging in conversations. We will co-develop the climate change adaptation solutions needed to increase the coastal resilience of the Pelee West and Pelee East littoral cells with the communities and stakeholders.

FALL 2024 WORKSHOP SERIES

Note:  Workshop PowerPoint and Posters can be downloaded from the Resources page under 'Workshop Materials'.

The fall 2024 workshops will introduce the project vision and goals to the local communities and stakeholders in the Pelee West and Pelee East littoral cells, which stretch from the mouth of the Detroit River in Amherstburg to the Port Alma area of Chatham-Kent. We also want to learn about how you interact with the coastal area and what you value about the north shore of Lake Erie. The meetings will start with a formal presentation, followed by a ‘Question and Answer’ period, then attendees will be encouraged to review the information posters and provide written or oral feedback.
